My son has used Luvs ever since they came out with the "bear hug stretch" sides. I like the stretchy tabs, and we haven't had any issues with leaks that weren't "Daddy Errors" (sometimes he forgets to point South). I recommend Luvs to all my friends with new babies, just as good as Pampers without the Pampers price!!!

I used Luvs ~5 years ago with my daughter and they were great, but I noticed a quality change as we transitioned to pull ups and underwear that turned me off: thinner diaper (seemed like less material, which I equated with poorer quality because of the following), leaks, and gel on her skin. I tried Luvs again with my 1-month old with some hesitation, and have found that the quality issues have been resolved! The diaper is still on the thin side (perhaps an improvement in materials which makes the diaper less bulky); and they are absorbent as ever, very adjustable in the waist (ie, enough material) in order to make baby comfy, no more gel falling out of the absorbent core, and the Velcro tabs for ease. I highly recommend Luvs for affordability, value, and absorbency for a girl and boy. I would also like to mention that I have also recently used Huggies Newborn and Natural Care(soft, but leak constantly, slightly bulky, and too tight in the waist, IMO), and Swaddlers(soft, comfy in waist, few to no leaks, but left gel on my son's skin...the Pampers website said this wasn't dangerous, but I don't want to take any chances!)--and I rank Luvs better than these brands so far.

Luvs in bulk like this are such a great deal. I have four boys and have always found Luvs to be my favorite diaper by far. They fit great, and never fail overnight.

I agree with other reviewers about Luvs diapers. They are excellent for the price. They function as good as other pricy diapers. They are absorbent enough to last for 5-6 hours. They arent bulky so great for stashing in the diaper bag.
I just dont like the wierd chemical-like odor that these diapers have. But it doesnt bother me a lot, cos things can get smellier anyway LOL!

This is the first and last box of Luvs I will every purchase. EVERY diaper leaked and a couple even ripped at the seams when putting the tabs around my son's waist. I have never been so disappointed in a product. I also use Pampers Cruisers and Huggies, which are both much better than Luvs. You get what you pay for with these!
