Because it weighs only 38 pounds, it's readily portable and great for parties, camping, crafts, offices, workrooms, and myriad other uses. The table arrives fully assembled, and setting it up is no more complicated than unfolding the legs, which are gray, 18-gauge steel with an attractive, lightly hammered texture. Molded from high-density, all-weather, stain-resistant polyethylene that is stronger, lighter, and more durable than wood, the top won't split, chip, or peel, and it wipes clean with a soapy cloth.
