These bottles of agave are larger than some of the others you can buy. The price is good, and agave works great in desserts, although it is sometimes hard to put a lot in because it is still kind of expensive. My nephew loves it, whenever he comes over, he always asks specifically for a peanut butter and agave sandwitch. It tastes good, although too sweet to eat plain for my taste. But I never use it plain. Keeping it in the refigerator makes it less runny, and flow slower (more like honey), so you dont use as much.

This was a great deal. 6 large bottles for $33, much cheaper than the grocery store. I like this sweetener because it is low glycemic which won't spike your blood sugar. Will purchase again.

This is the best multipurpose sweetener I have ever tasted. Not only is the sweetener is a replacement for sugar but it can be used for syrup for your pancakes, waffles etc. It is a low glycemic sugar and it is true that you will not get tired using the sweetener. It is true that the sweetener "slowly absorbs into the body, preventing spikes in blood sugar." If you find that you are sleepy after you have eaten sugar, then this product is for you because the body slowly absorbs the sugar, you will not get tired as quickly! The sweetener adds a nectar flavor to your dishes. I used it in a yams/sweet potato recipe and it worked wonders!

I thought I had my answer with maple syrup, but this agave nectar is the perfect beverage sweetener. It does what a sweetener is intended to do -- adds sweetness without adding any additional flavors to distort the taste of whatever it is being added to. And I don't feel spacey after consuming it the way other sweeteners sometimes make me feel. There is no after-taste (unlike stevia, which I can't understand all the hub-bub about), and it has a nice consistency that causes it to dissolve very quickly, just like maple syrup - only at about 1/3 the cost of maple syrup where I live!
I'm so glad I decided to give this a try just to check out something new. No more brown rice syrup (clumpy and with a distorting flavor), no more honey (solidifies in the frig and also strong taste), no more maple syrup (too expensive), and certainly no more sugar, artificial sweeteners, or nasty stevia. Hello blue agave! This is absolutely the perfect sweetener.
