Good for What It Is August 6, 2008
Zen and Now
I compare this to Kraft or other conventional mac 'n cheese products and give it a 5. You cannot compare it to homemade, however. I actually haven't touched any mac n cheese other than natural ones in decades...yuk. But this is a product I like to have on hand for nights I don't want to cook. Quick, easy--almost like not cooking. Tasty.

My kids love this and I can feel good serving it to them. Say goodbye to preservatives and ingredients I can not pronounce.

I bought a box of this at the local grocery store to try before we buy a case. The taste was great, we just switched over to organic foods and I am gone 3 days a week for work. The 2 "boys" (my s.o. and 16 year son), fend for themeselves for food while I am gone. They used to eat all those processed boxed premade dinners, so it has been hard as neither wants to spend lots of time cooking. This and the other boxed meals are great alternatives to all the processed boxed food. Annies brand has so far been consistently good and I would recommend to anyone.

This is without a doubt one of the best "mac and cheese" products around. And it is good for you too! I noticed some negative reviews about the cheese sauce being too thin. YOU NEED TO DRAIN THE SHELLS REALLY WELL and this will remedy that. They are like tiny water buckets, so I stirred and shook the water out of them while they were in my collander and it did the trick. ENJOY!
