Product Description Studio: Image Entertainment Release Date: 06/29/2004
Amazon.com The Texas comic and co-star of Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie ponders the absurdity of fashionable eyewear ("Why do sunglasses cost more than a 25-inch TV?") and much else in the live performance Ron White: They Call Me Tater Salad. Looking as if he just woke up from a nap (or is on his third beer), White contemplates eros with the inarguable "You see one woman nekkid... you want to see them all nekkid." A veteran of hurricane country, he contemplates those idiots who insist they're strong enough to sit out big storms: "If you're hit by a Volvo, it doesn't matter how many sit-ups you did that morning." On wedding anniversaries: "Diamonds--that'll shut her up." Some of White's material is unnecessarily crude for such a clever guy, but the best stuff, including a funny monologue about his half-mad, deer-hunting cousin, makes up for it. --Tom Keogh

Not much I haven't seen September 29, 2008 N. Schiff (New York, USA) If this is the first time you're going to be seeing Ron White, it's got some great jokes of his. That is if you can get around the fact that the live audience has a habit of getting very excited after he starts the first line of a joke, creating anticipation that might disappoint.
If you've already seen one or two of his skits, you probably won't be seeing too many new jokes. But overall if you're looking for something to hold on to, this isn't bad.
A Great first impression September 5, 2008 Jessie C. Hammond (Brunswick, Ohio) This was the first stand-up I saw of Ron "Tater Salad" White, and I love every minute of it. My friend loaned me the DVD saying "If you like Foxworthy, you'll like this guy." And he couldn't have been more right. Ron takes a more blurred view of the world, usually through a half empty glass of scotch. If you are a fan of any of the Blue Collar boys give this one a try.
Only If You Think So June 28, 2008 Ginny (In Pennsylvania) This was his funniest ever. (In my Humble opinion)Even tho it has some not so nice language he is the funniest of the Blue Collar Bunch.I await his next offering with bated breath. It is really funny but ONLY IF YOU THINK SO,
Ron White - They Call Me Tater January 19, 2008 Janis Bukstein (montrose mn usa) My ex husband bought this one and I watched it, but it is not for kids. He is funny I will give him that, but he is not for the timid due to bad lang. or bad thoughts. He is crude at times.
Tater Salad January 14, 2008 Erin M. Gourley It was really funny, but it was only about an hour long. I wish it would have had more to it.
