Vanity Fair's Bra Fitting Information Research indicates that over 70% of women don't wear the correct size bra. A well-fitted bra should feel comfortable and complement your natural shape. Once you determine the correct size for you, Vanity Fair can help you find the perfect bra in just the right fabric and color. Confidence comes from within, and it's easier to feel confident when you know you're wearing a bra that fits and flatters your shape. These simple guidelines below will help you select the size that works best. Band Measurement Using a measuring tape, take a snug measurement around the rib cage, directly under the bust. If the measurement is an odd number, add 5 inches to determine band size. If the measurement is even, add 6 inches. Tip: When measuring for band size, place your index finger under the tape measure to allow for body expansion necessary for sitting. Cup Measurement Using a measuring tape, measure around the fullest part of the bust (do not stretch tape tightly). Then, take the difference between this measurement and the band size measurement to determine the cup size. If the difference is: - 1 inch ... you are a cup size A
- 2 inches ... you are a cup size B
- 3 inches ... you are a cup size C
- 4 inches ... you are a cup size D
- 5 inches ... you are a cup size DD
- 6 inches ... you are a cup size DDD
Tip: If the band seems too tight, increase one band size and decrease one cup size. If the band seems too large and rides up in the back, decrease one band size and increase one cup size. Note: The measurement is just a starting point. Different styles fit differently, and each style must be tried on to assure a proper fit. It is best to measure while wearing an underwire bra.

AMAZING!!! Great Post Pregnancy Bra! October 24, 2008 Big Momma (NC, USA) I went from a 34 C (pre pregnancy) to a 34 DD (while breast feeding). This bra was awesome!! so light and seamless, silky, AMAZING fit, best fit every. The only thing it needs is that stay in place clear stuff on the back strap so it doesn't ride up. But my boobs looked like I had implants they looked so perfect in this bra :-)
I hate bra shopping! :-) April 3, 2008 Beth 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I would rather have my nails torn off than go to the store to try on bras. Once I finally find one that fits and doesn't make me feel like a mutant, that style is not carried the next time I go. That is what happened my last trip to the mall, so I decided to check on Amazon for the style I liked some time ago. Looking it up by the style number was easy, and ordering easy as well. And the prices were actually better than the sale price at the mall stores. I like this bra, it is as comfortable as a bra can possibly be, and fits me well. It is good for no-show, too.
Padding still too thick December 29, 2007 M. Hobby 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love Vanity Fair bras. I am a 34 DD, and most full figured bras make me stick out like a couple of torpedos. Vanity Fair makes me look natural. This said, I was disappointed. The padding was not as thin as I expected. I cut it out, and LOVE it.
Love this bra November 7, 2007 Michelle L. Dakin (wisconsin) I bought one of this style bra in a bright pink color in the store on clearance and it was the only one they had, so I specifically looked it up on Amazon to buy it in black and white. It is reasonably-priced, comfortable, and flattering with just enough coverage to not be falling out, but still be able to wear a moderately deep v-neck shirt. There is nice, smooth coverage for t-shirt wear also.
great bra November 4, 2007 Cynthia Doherty (El Dorado Hills, CA) This is a great bra. It fits me well and does not show under close fitting t-shirts. Very comfortable and a reasonable price.
